TRINITY — As of June 30, Diane McCrory, Trinity County Clerk, will be officially retired and the post will be left to Shasta Bergman, Trinity County Clerk – Elect.

She will take her oath early, come July 1, and then take it again come January 1, 2015.
Having worked in the Trinity County Clerk's office for seven years she already knows the ropes and feels confident she will prosper.

Diane McCrory stated before she left Commissioners Court on Monday, June 23, that she may be leaving but she will be back to ensure things are running smoothly.

Diane has worked for Trinity County for 23 years, she has been fundamental in her operations as County Clerk, correcting mistakes previously made and bringing the County into a new era of technology and online publications.

She was recently named by The Vital Statistics Unit as a Five Star Award Winner, one of 42 clerks in the State recognized for this achievement.
